Blush Brush

Terms & conditions

The terms you agree to when you buy a box or book a seat with Blush & Brush.

Last updated 4 August 2026.

Who you are buying from

Blush & Brush is a trading name of [TO CONFIRM: your full name — you trade as a sole trader]. Our address is [TO CONFIRM: postal address for correspondence]. Contact us at [TO CONFIRM: e.g. hello@blushbrush.co.uk].

We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on your order.

Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling. We sell only in pounds — if your card is issued elsewhere, your bank will convert at its own rate and may add a fee of its own.

Payment is taken by Stripe at the time you order. Your contract with us is formed when we confirm your order on screen.

Prices can change, but never after you have paid. If we discover a genuine pricing error before dispatch we will contact you and offer to reprice or refund in full.

Boxes: delivery

We deliver across the United Kingdom. Most orders arrive within three working days; next working day delivery is available on request.

Delivery is charged once per order. Please make sure the address you give is correct — we cannot recover a box sent to an address you entered incorrectly.

Boxes: your right to cancel

Because you are buying at a distance, you have 14 days from the day your box arrives to change your mind, for any reason and without giving one. You then have a further 14 days to send it back.

Tell us by emailing [TO CONFIRM: e.g. hello@blushbrush.co.uk]. We will refund what you paid, including standard outbound delivery, within 14 days of receiving the box back. Return postage is at your cost unless the box was faulty or wrong.

Please return items unused and in a resaleable condition. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value from handling beyond what a shop would allow.

This is in addition to your legal rights if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

Paint nights: tickets

A ticket reserves a seat at a specific event, at a specific venue, on a specific date. Seats are limited and sold first come, first served.

Refunds up to 72 hours before the event. Cancel more than 72 hours before the start time and we refund you in full.

Moving to another night up to 48 hours before. Inside the refund window but more than 48 hours before the start, we can move you to another night with space, 1 time per booking.

Inside 48 hours we cannot refund or move a ticket. By then the paints and surfaces are bought and the venue is booked. In exceptional circumstances it is still worth contacting us.

Events booked for a specific date are excluded from the automatic 14-day cancellation right that applies to goods bought at a distance. The policy above is what applies to tickets instead.

Paint nights: if we have to change or cancel

If we cancel an event you will be offered a full refund or a seat on another night, whichever you prefer.

If we have to change the date, time or venue, we will tell you as soon as we can. If the new arrangement does not suit you, you may cancel for a full refund whatever notice has been given.

At the venue

Paint nights are held at partner venues, and you are subject to the venue’s own house rules while you are there.

We do not supply alcohol. Drinks are bought from the venue, which is responsible for serving them lawfully. Anyone drinking must be 18 or over and may be asked for identification.

Guests under 18 are welcome at events described as suitable for them, accompanied by an adult.

Please dress for painting. Paint can mark clothing permanently and we cannot accept responsibility for damage to what you choose to wear.

We may ask someone to leave, without a refund, if their behaviour spoils the evening for others or puts anyone at risk.

Boxes: what is and is not included

Boxes contain paints, brushes, palettes, water cups, your chosen surfaces and a guide card. They do not contain alcohol.

Paints are non-toxic but are not food safe. Painted glassware and crockery are decorative: please do not paint any surface that food or drink will touch, and hand wash rather than putting items in a dishwasher.

Keep paints away from children under three.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care.

We do not limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaching your legal rights as a consumer.

Complaints and the law that applies

If something goes wrong, email [TO CONFIRM: e.g. hello@blushbrush.co.uk] and we will do our best to put it right.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
