Paint guides
Pick something to paint
Every design is broken into a handful of steps, with a picture of what it should look like at each one. They assume you have never done this before, because most people haven’t.
Wine glass
Wildflower meadow
Easiest · about 40 min
Stems all the way round the bowl, with blush, butter and lilac blooms at the top. The forgiving one — every wobbly line looks intentional.
Terrazzo chips
Easy · about 40 min
Chips of blush, teal and ochre scattered over the whole bowl on a cream ground. No two glasses ever come out the same, which is the point.
Peeking panda
Easy · about 40 min
One big panda face filling the whole bowl. Four shapes and two dots — the design to hand anybody who says they can't paint.
Vase
Rose garland
Easy · about 55 min
Blooms winding right round the vase with leaves linking them up. Painted in circles, not petals — much easier than it looks.
Sunset arches
A bit more · about 55 min
Terracotta, ochre and teal arches under a scalloped shoulder. Straight-edged and modern — the one to pick if you would rather not paint a flower.
Plant pot
Chunky check
Easiest · about 30 min
Fat blush checkerboard with a gold-dotted rim. The most-copied thing we make, and the hardest to get wrong.
Wavy hills
Easy · about 40 min
Rolling bands of ochre, terracotta and plum that run all the way round, under a butter sun and a sky full of stars. Landscape, no drawing skill required.
